Life keeps rolling on even if we have tripped and fallen by the road side. When we have we can use a helping hand.

Psychotherapy is a complex process but the bottom line is: it’s the relationship between therapist and client that heals. Trusting the person across from you is the crux of the relationship. Different modalities, techniques and the like are meaningless without this basic trust.

I have been practicing as a clinical social worker in SF for more than Forty-three years. I have worked with people of all races, sexual persuasions, age and income levels as well as couples pre and post wedding, separation, divorce and involved in co-parenting issues. In the 90’s, I led a support group for those living (and dying) with AIDS.

As a seasoned practitioner there is little that shocks me. I have seen the best of intentions go awry as people attempt to change their lives. Motivation is the key to change and, if it isn’t there, nothing is going to change. I work with uncovering and unblocking your true motivation and working with it to effect change.
